Truck navigation
available (also for bus or motorhome)
A lorry or bus is up to 7 times as long, twice as wide, 3 times as high and 20 times as heavy as a normal car. You know that, but does your sat nav know it too? Our sat nav knows!
The AXION truck navigation software uses map data specially designed for lorries. By entering vehicle parameters such as length / height / width / weight / axles / trailers / any dangerous loads, you receive a route optimised for your vehicle, avoiding roads closed to trucks, passages that are too narrow, bridges that are too low, etc. The driver can also set route criteria such as reducing the use of toll roads, bridges, ferries and tunnels.
Extra bus profile:
If this setting is selected, the navigation drives in bus mode and thus enables you to navigate safely, e.g. even in city centres where trucks are not normally permitted and therefore other truck navigation systems will not help you!
