A mechanical lock is the most effective

The key components of the SoloDiesel cap, which reliably prevents misfuelling, are five safety hooks that detect the diameter of the tank gun. In the event that you try to insert the smaller petrol nozzle into the larger diesel opening of the tank, the SoloDiesel prevents this with the help of the aforementioned safety hooks and blocks the petrol nozzle. The diesel tank gun with the correct diameter allows the system to refuel unhindered. Because it is not necessary to screw the filler cap on and off, SoloDiesel also enables faster refuelling. The flap automatically closes the tank opening after refuelling and, in accordance with all European standards, enables regular ventilation and pressure equalisation in the tank. Naturally, the entire SoloDiesel cap is manufactured in accordance with all European standards and can replace the original cap.

Convenient refuelling

Have you ever seen at Formula 1 races how quickly the racing car is refuelled during the short stop in the pits? And of course nobody wastes time screwing the petrol cap on and off. The SoloDiesel cap, which has the basic function of preventing incorrect refuelling of a diesel vehicle (with petrol), also has a similar flap system. When a fuelling nozzle for diesel is inserted, it opens; when it is removed, it closes automatically. The Solodiesel cap thus enables quick and easy refuelling and reliably prevents misfuelling.
